Here you go: ‘Terra Nullius’ is the name for unclaimed territory. Currently, there are only three terra nullius regions in the world: a part of Antarctica, a few land pockets on the west bank of the Danube at the border between Croatia and Serbia, and Bir Tawil, a landlocked region with over 2000 km² of sand between Egypt and Sudan.

How is it possible that nobody claims this land? Well, both Egypt and Sudan want to control the much larger Halaib triangle to the east, bordering the Red Sea. Egypt claims a border from 1899, following the 22nd parallel, which considers the Halaib triangle to be a part of Egypt, but not Bir Tawil. Sudan claims an alternative border from 1902, which puts the Halaib triangle in Sudan, but Bir Tawil in Egypt. The result? Both countries claim control over the Halaib triangle, but none of them wants to control poor Bir Tawil…
