Head of Training
To support Baryon’s growth, we are looking for a Head of our Business Unit ‘Trainings’.
As Head of Training, you will be in charge of one of Baryon’s key business lines: training. Currently, our trainings in data visualization and information design are given to a range of clients such as universities, government agencies, private companies and non-profit organizations. In these interactive trainings, we help participants turn complex data into powerful visuals.
Your role as Head of Training will consist of 2 main parts:
- Account management & business development
You will maintain existing relationships with training clients, to ensure their training needs are met and create customer delight at the client side. In addition, you will proactively scout new prospects and attract new clients for the training business. Finally, you will also spot opportunities to develop new trainings to better serve our client portfolio.
2. Training delivery
You will be coached and trained in data visualization skills, and will be joining Koen, Baryon’s founder, to several workshops before giving them independently. A significant part of your role will entail giving trainings yourself. In addition, you will be responsible for all planning and coordination related to the trainings. As the training business grows, you can build out a team of internal/external trainers to further support our clients and your own training work.
Your profile
- Passion for data visualization and information design
- 5+ years of professional experience in a training (L&D), digital project management, and/or account management context
- Strong communicator that loves to work with small to medium (8-20) groups of people.
- Sales accumen, being able to grow, close and maintain deals
- Fluent in Dutch & English. French is a plus.
