Origin story

I am Koen Van den Eeckhout, a 37 year old consultant and physics PhD based in Herzele, a small village south of Ghent, in Belgium. Ten years ago I founded Baryon to combine my two passions: effective communication about scientific or technological topics, and strong visual design. As an experienced information designer, I can help you get your message across in a captivating visual way – no matter how complex it might be. Depending on your challenges I work together with a selection of excellent partners in the fields of illustration, animation, and web development. In this way, we ensure that your end result will match and exceed your needs and expectations.
